8 Week Performance Program

Join us for an exciting eight-week music program designed specifically for kids ages 10-16, dates TBD. This engaging program aims to foster musical skills, teamwork, and creativity as participants work together to form a band and prepare for a final performance for family and friends. The theme for this session is “rock through the ages” featuring popular songs from the 1960's through the 2000s!!

Duration: 8 Weeks

Weekly Schedule:

• One Private Lesson (Monday or Tuesday): Each child will receive personalized instruction tailored to their musical interests and skill level.
• One Group Lesson (Thursday): In these sessions, kids will collaborate with their peers, learning how to play together as a band.
• Two Saturday group rehearsals: March 1st & 8th.

Instrument Rotation: Throughout the program, each child will have the opportunity to rotate between various instruments, including:

• Guitar
• Bass
• Drums
• Keyboard

Vocal Training: Participants will also gain experience in vocal performance, enhancing their ability to contribute to the band as singers.

• Develop musical skills across multiple instruments
• Enhance teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Build confidence through performance experience
• Create lasting memories and friendships through shared musical experiences

• Band Formation: Participants will learn to collaborate and communicate effectively, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
• Performance Preparation: The culmination of the program will be a live performance on March 8th, allowing kids to showcase their hard work and newfound skills to family and friends.

Kids will benefit from the expertise of three different music teachers, each bringing their unique style and knowledge. This rotation will provide a well-rounded musical education and exposure to diverse teaching methods.
